ABOUT CLASSROOM LACROSSE
The Pro Caliber Classroom Lacrosse® program introduces the sport of lacrosse and educates students on the origin and Indigenous roots of the sport in Canada and North America.
The student-centred program ensures that students are actively involved in a fun, inclusive and interactive environment. Pro Caliber Lacrosse's Professional coaches and National Lacrosse League players lead and instruct the customizable Pro Caliber Classroom Lacrosse® program.
Beyond the basics of lacrosse, students will learn important values like teamwork and integrity while building on physical skills fundamental to any sport. Pro Caliber Lacrosse is fully equipped to provide the necessary lacrosse equipment
(lacrosse sticks, soft balls) to single classes and instruct in an indoor gym or outdoor setting (Fall, Winter or Spring).

CLASSROOM LACROSSE FEATURES
Students will acquire lacrosse skills through various appropriate movement activities in a varied environment while experiencing the health benefits of physical activity. Pro Caliber CLASSROOM Lacrosse® encourages students to interact positively with others while demonstrating etiquette and fair play. Beyond lacrosse, the physical components also focus on skills such as running, jumping, throwing and catching, which are fundamental to any sport.
LACROSSE
Professional lacrosse instructors with expertise in the game as well as coaching children and youth.
Introducing proper lacrosse mechanics, including passing, catching, shooting, scooping and cradling.
Encouraging and developing movements for dodging, throwing and ground ball (trapping) mechanics.
ATHLETICS
Physical literacy covering A, B, and C's (agility, balance and coordination).
Fundamental movement skills corresponding to different stages of long-term athletic development in various environments.
Developing enhanced hand-eye coordination.
EDUCATION
Learning fair play, sportsmanship and leadership encouraged through cooperating and interacting positively with others.
Educational aspects such as history, geography and health sciences.
Learning to enjoy participating through active and engaging activities.
