Introducing "Try Lacrosse" - a program designed for students entering grades 3-5 who are interested in playing lacrosse for the first time. Our goal is to provide the participants with a fun and supportive environment where they can learn the fundamental skills needed to excel in lacrosse.
We believe that exposing children to sports at an early age promotes physical literacy and fosters important life skills such as teamwork, discipline, and perseverance. By offering Try Lacrosse, we hope to provide children with a positive introduction to this dynamic sport.

PROGRAM OVERVIEW
Participants will be able to engage in 4 one-hour sessions led by Pro Caliber Lacrosse’s top-tier coaches. These sessions are meticulously crafted to teach essential skills crucial for success in lacrosse, providing a solid foundation for young athletes. This unique environment will support first-time lacrosse players in building their confidence, meeting new friends and having fun.
NO BARRIER TO ENTER
Registration for Try Lacrosse is free for all participants, and Pro Caliber Lacrosse will provide sticks upon arrival. However, it's essential to note that space is limited to 30 athletes. We encourage interested families to register early to secure their child's spot in the program. If the response from the community is overwhelmingly positive, we will open up space for a second group of 30 athletes.
FOLLOW-UP PROGRAMMING
As a natural progression from Try Lacrosse, we will invite all Try Lacrosse participants to our Stickstarter Program. Tailored specifically for those transitioning from Try Lacrosse, Stickstarter further promotes long-term development in lacrosse. We aim to strengthen our community by ensuring everyone has the opportunity to engage with this incredible sport.
